Hi guys, I live in a country where, people walk on wooden shoes, Koni shocks where invented, the weather is always crappy, pumpgas costs around $9 per gallon and drugs are free available.
I am building a 69 SS RS camaro to be a pro street car. It is a original swiss build car and I bought it compleetly in boxes.
I am currently building a homemade 4-link and would like to no the part number for a good set of Koni Coilovers that I can use with that.
I have like a thousand more questions about building a killer car but one thing at a time.
All ideas welcome here.

WELCOME!

You think they invented the shocks to make walking in those wooden shoes a little less harsh?

LOL

Post some pictures so we can see what you're building...

Welcome from a fellow Dutchman.

Pro-Street???? Don't you wanna kill Beemers, Merc's, Porches, etc. in the twisties and under braking? Hang around long enough here and on PT.com and you'll soon change your mind. :unibrow:

Hej Hollander.
Welcome to pro-touring.com

Bram, don't know what you have been drinking, eating, smoking BUT:

as long as you don't know where he comes from you can't cal him a Hollander. Being Dutch doesn't mean you're a Hollander by definition, you know.
PT.com, you sure 'bout that?

Yep, sold the BBC and went the LS-route, thanks for the compliment.

Yes I would love to kick some German Ash. But I also want a big block. And that makes it more a "straight line" kind of car isn't it ? Try to convince me to go for Pro-Touring.

I saw a C6 rearaxle and gearbox for sale on the local Marketplace, that looks kind of pro-touring to me. Is it possible to fit one in ? It might distribute the weight a little beter with a big block under the hood.

Look at me talking, I am a pro-tourer already

That's real simple to do ---- Check out the videos posted by VEGAS69 on here -- big block -- killer... and tracks the snot out of it.

PRO STREET is so.............. yesterday......... it's gotta STOP -- Corner -- blow cold A/C -- have big tunes -- and bigger power... No point in having big power if it doesn't stop and corner...

Just my .01 worth. That's USD by the way.

You also haven't heared of Vinnie Allegretta, I guess? Won the 2008 Year One AutoX and drives the snot out of that thing. To top it all of he recently went into the 9's on the strip. Changed the rear wheels and set the airride suspension differently. FYI; that car is equipped with BBC, 4L80e with Paddle shifter and Airride suspension. Car built by Jake's Rod Shop in cooperation with Steve Chryssos (Twistmachine.com).

Everything is possible but it won't be easy. Given Vinnie's results I would say; waste of time!
