Hi There!

I wonder if anyone here are using an electric waterpump in any daily "driver"
I want to mount it in one of my cars because of its cleaner look.
Electric waterpumps are not common here in Norway so thats why i ask you guys.
Havent found something about it..

Its going in a classic car that im going to use a lot in the summer time (april-september)

Check out this website ---

http://www.meziere.com/default.aspx

They have an electric water pump for just about every application going - various size of inlet and outlets - rotation - etc....

They do also have electric pumps for "street" use - i.e., daily drivers.

You can run either a Meziere or a Stewart / EWP all day long without issue. I worked on a military program that has run the EWPs for years without any failures (we use them on closed-loop cooling systems on our offshore boats).

I would reccomend that you examine your electrical system in order to make sure that it's capable of supporting the pump load at lower RPMs. If you plan to run it in combination with an electric fan, you'll find that the EWP can be modulated to control the flow of the water. This will keep you from having to turn a 30-50amp fan at low speed. The EWP has an available PWM controller that is quite nice.
