i bought stock the other day, 1/4" 6061 aluminum, cadded a template of my 3 choices, and... well take a look..

I laid card out 1.75 wide, and made a template to get exact angles i need, and also easier to see what it would look like playing with each angle.

then, cadded up some templates based on my specs, made a few designs and picked which one i liked best..

made template to size, printed it and mocked it up

transferred the paper to the stock

drilled my holes

cut and sanded to brushed steel, started with 260-400-600 grits, matches my radiator

Good Work!!! Do You Think It Will Have Enough Material Left To Actually Do Some "bracing"?

Looks good so far! How are you going to finish it on the fender itself?

i have brackets that will mount on the existing fender and screw in the original brace holes
