Hi guys I'm new to the pro touring\g machine world. I am attempting my first build, so I'm sure I will have plenty of questions. My knowledge is novice, but I have a friend assisting me that is VERY knowledgable about cars in general.
My car is a '72 Cutlass S, I am currently building a .030 455 with forged pistons, port matched heads and intake soon to be mated to a 4L80E or 700R4. I wanted to do something a little differnet for the Olds world. I've always liked the Olds and I've actually only seen 2 Pro Touring Cutlass' online 1 was Popular Hot Rodding build and the other a member of an Olds forum I belong to. . Hope I'm not too much with the questions. I'm here to learn, fellowship and hopefully build a nice ride. :unibrow: BTW, if anyone in the Michigan are has 04-06 GTO seats for sale, look me up...lol

Thanks for the welcome guys... I like those and the Chevelle's of the 67-72 era too. I actually read a lot of those threads being they are so similar. Here's a cpl pics of how it looked when I got it almost 1 yr ago and how it looks as of Sunday night. I took the a-arms and spindles off last night. I'll definitely post pics as I go. This is my first project, but hopefully not my last... :D

Hey Richard! Well now you see the direction my project is going. It seems to have taken on life of its own...lol You already know what I think of your ride. :hail: Maybe I'll be worthy of your "Amateur-Touring" tour...LOL :D

Never such a thing as to many questions. Better to ask a stupid one than make a stupid mistake I was always told. Welcome to the community and keep us updated as you make progress. Nice to see something a bit different.
