Dodge Dart Swinger 1970

I've seen in here a Dodge Dart Swinger 70, is not the 340, because it has no stripe, no hood scoops, no spoiler and no sport interior, so I want to know what engine does it carry and the specs of a HEMI 318, I need everything about the 318 because I'm looking if I can get that car and put a 318 into it, but first I need the specs of the 318 block, please guys.

I think you might be refering to screen name, FREAK on this web site. He has an awesome Dart, but not sure of the specs.

theres no such thing as a hemi 318, but there was a poly head and a wedge head 318. The 318 in a 70 Dart would be wedge head. A 70 Dart could be had with a 198 slant 6, a 225 slant 6, a 318 v-8 or a 340 v-8.



**** sometimes- in countries other than the USA some engines were called "hemi" even if they were not.

yeah, I know what engines were available in the 70's Dart, tough I didn't know that the 318 V8 wasn't a HEMI (because I thought that all Dodge V8's were HEMIs), but what I want to know is the specs list of the 318 block and the 340 block, and if the Dart I've been seeing is not a 340, what engine does it have? is the swinger, but it doesn't have the swinger 340 badging and features
