Didn't see it run and there was no one around it in the paddock when I was there:

I don't know anything about it and have onlt seen it in one other picture before. It looks like a fun one to blast around the track with. But what's the deal with the ginormous wing??

I think that belongs to Charleys buddy; saw it at HAN last year.

That's John Gilligans...His buddy Gary Guthrie has a similar one. LS powered, really fast.

I was going to say, that looks an awful lot like Gary's car... Gary lives about 2 miles from me. Haven't seen Gary's car finished though, last time I was over at his house with Jim Dyer to see it assembly was nearly complete but the body was still in primer. If that car is like Gary's then it's full C5 underneath including IRS and transaxle, IIRC Wayne Due did the chassis work initially. Neat track car for sure!

Here's the video of John's car at Laguna:

Also, up in the Sacramento area there is a mid-engined first gen track car that is in work...

Extra cool. Are they just track cars or do they run NASA AIX or something?

I thought it looked like a twin to Gary's,I've seen him run @ Laguna several times and he's stopped at my office to visit passing through Salinas.

Thanks for the pix john. Added this to my file of inspirational camaros. Between this car, big red, and Bob Owen's car I have a pretty good reference of what I need to do...

I'll get Gary to chime in....

Looked like he was out and busy doing some driver testing for a commercial CDL this afternoon down in the old Plummer parking lot. :)

I need to go back over and see it now that it's finished.

Man that thing looks wicked. I'd love to take that around the track a few times. Has me thinking about my next project!
