First -- WELCOME! Nice Impala!

I have one question - and I'm no "tuner".... but those A/F numbers look pretty "lean" up in the RPM band... and leaner yet at peak torque...

Anyone??

I have been told the same on another forum and questioned my engine builder about it. I was told It had to do with how the dyno pull was performed If I recall correctly

61Rag --

It certainly seems to make nice power that's for sure!

It's just that most all of my dyno pulls have shown 12.5 or 12.7 something like that at peak torque numbers ... When I saw your leaner 13.8 and 14.0's it made me wonder is all.

I love your car - just killer stance and that drop top is so dang nice looking!

I do not quite remember the exact reason for it but I just assumed he knew what he was doing, as I am a rookie when it comes to this tuning stuff. I to question it from all the info I have read in books and online.

Thanks for the compliments Greg, I just might try a jet change and see if I can feel it judging by the seat of my pants feel test:D

Andre is GREAT to deal with and the converter seems good. It feels no different than my 12 inch 2400 stall i had in it at light throttle but is much meaner when I punch it!! Not as good as I have been told my combo should be after I got a better converter but I can not say for sure that it is due to the converter. I just wish I could break em loose a lot more with out using the brakes.
