I would love to have this car. There is signficant potential there especially if a kit car title can be issued. A good trim shop could create a plush interior and some other mods could get it to be otherwise street legal.

How cool would that be to drive to work everyday???????

If you took that to work you would get wierd stares and the cops would pull you over for sure. I would love to have it.

One question. Why is it called a Lexus? There isn't one Lexus piece on that thing. I guess Lexus does sound more exotic than Chevrolet.

I beleive in the movie it was meant to be a Lexus in the future. It's really just a movie prop - fanatasy.

Hey Scott, it's got the carbureted engine, must be the street fighter version! LOL!

I'm with T-Bell.... for as much(or little) as a 92-96 Lexus SC400 1UZFE drivetrain costs they should have done that instead of using

"a hiperformance V-6 GM motor"

Anyway could and should have been a sweet little ride. I say; buy it and make a mold to fit the body on a Fiero and make some cash!

Wow thats one BAD interior and engine combo.

Still 15k into shining the thing up under the skin and a decent drivetrain and youd have yourself one hell of a cool toy

After viewing this thread I decided to watch the movie. Very very good movie IMO. :) The car was red in the movie. Never saw a blue one.

I didn't make reserve.

I think $25K is really the top range for this car considering how rough it is and the fact there is really very little there (no a/c, no accesories, etc. etc) AND, there is no title so it may never be able to get registered and driven.

actually... the title is one of the easier parts, it just needs a bill of sale from the builder, then you would title it as a constructed kit...similar to choppers that are built from catalogs.

It's cool looking but I would not buy this car. It's going to take a lot of money to make it into a real car that you could drive around. I'm sure the chassis is not up too par, and I doubt you could get certified in Ca. All the running gear looks dated and old. All your paying for is a shell and a background. You also have to wonder how stong that body is.
