Need to convert 72 Nova rotors to Mopar bolt Pattern

My 14 yr. old son and I have been building a 54 Studebaker Champion to be a ratrod which can also be used for track days. We've welded on a Nova sub-frame and am running a Chrysler 383/727 with an 8 3/4.

We are on a tight budget and need to convert to brake rotors from 5 x 4 3/4 to 5 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern. This is my first choice unless changing axles are cheaper but it needs new rotors anyway.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated?

There are bolt on adaptors that can be used to change bolt pattern. But they are about an inch thick, which may not work with the wheels you may have.

Any machine shop that is worth anything could machine the hubs for the new bolt pattern. i have done the same thing but went from a 5x4.75 to a 5x5.

I know that in Mustang II front ends you can use Granada or Chevelle rotors, by changing the bearings. So there is some interchangability. Maybe granada rotors with nova bearings?

The Granada rotor bearing spacing is slightly different, but you can put it on an early GM spindle pin by swapping the SET13 and SET12 inner and outer bearings for SET6 and SET2 bearings compatible with the GM spindle pin. Getting the cotter pin hole to line up can be tricky sometimes, but there are ways around that. I think you'll be on your own for fabbing up a caliper mounting bracket...I know they exist for the MII spindles, but haven't seen anything for a modular GMSS application.

FWIW, the 1975-1980 Granada/Monarch rotors are 11.03" diameter and .875" thick with the 5x4.75" pattern and 2.776" [70.5mm] register diameter.
