Stopped by Comp Spec today and hung out with Pete & Brian. They were pretty busy and Pete didn't mind that I was hanging out/learning and asking some questions here and there.
Got to see the DSE stuff for Orange Krate and was I blown away. WOW is all I got to say. HEAVY DUTY stuff. (No wonder why DSE are the one most people go with!!)
They also had a '81 Z28 there that was absolutely gorgeous! Had a 572 crate that was carb'ed, but going fuel injected, Wilwoods all the way around, killer silver paint, roll cage and mini tubbed.
Thanks for letting me hang out Pete & Brian! I appreciate it. I'll be by again next week some time.
Want to trade lives next week? I'll go hang with the guys for you no problem!!

Tony, if Pontiac had hired you to head up their marketing organization, we probably still could have bought G8's for years to come.

Yeah, very cool place to have a car built. And I am very lucky to have such a great shop so close by. Pete & Brian know their stuff and they enjoy what they do. I'll be stopping by again next week. Hopefully they'll be starting ORANGE KRATE and I'll get to see that project being done first hand! (Did I mention how killer that DSE stuff is?!? lol):hail:
Maybe Pete will let take a couple of pics of the other projects they have going on there and let me post them here. I'll have to run it by him.

Actually it already is fuel injected, just hasn't been run with the fuel injection yet.

Thanks for posting Pete.
That car is CLEAN!!! Nice car.
(Which Chevelle did you want Pete to get a pic of? I think there are like 3 Chevelles there. Are taking about the one with the Art Morrison chassis, it's about 2 inches off the ground and with the 572 twin turbo TOM NELSON built engine?:wow: :hail:)
