Short answer...what do want to do? For a track whore than absolutely not, for a daily pounder sure/weekend cruiser, it will work fine.

How does the fatman Wonderbar compare to the air bar?

Same theory, most of the bolt on replacement "kits" are full of compromise for fitment.

Of the bolt in style, which would be best? I am building a vert, and am affraid to cut up the body, and have problems with the structural integrety.

Wait for Mean69 to publicy offer his 3-link, minimal surgery required and by far the best thing available, second place would be the DSE 4-link I guess.

Good luck trying to get a straight answer out of the manufacturer.

Go read the thread on the G28 Airbar install. It compared well to a complete GW package, but I don't think it will keep up with a good 3 link or DSE's 4 link.
My thoughts were to bolt them on my 3 link in place of coilovers and experiment. I would also do the same with the DSE 4 link before I used the Airbar.

Yeah, seeing the G/28 results with the Air bar got me thinking! I planed on going with Aluma Star coilovers in the front and DSE Minitub leaf reay, but liked the ideal of bags. Some people suggest not mini tubbing a vert too, so I started thinking, and the Bags would not cost too much more. Not to mention our driveway is steep :D

The AirBar does not require any mods to the floor pan. The only welding will be the upper bar tabs to the axle tube. Up front you will have to do a little trimming on the outside of the coil spring pocket. This will not reduce the structural integrity of the front end though.

As far a geometry goes it has a good instant center; close to the crank.
DSE's setup will work with Shockwaves. I'm not sure about Mean69's setup though.
