I don't remember being asked for insurance info at signup. I read in either Car Craft or Hot Rod that they were going to limit entrants. Not a bad idea considering how big it has gotten.

I would love to do the power tour again, but the 6200 mile trip to and from the cruise might make it a little too much to bear. Maybe I need to find someone to ride along with.

They should limit it to a year. Like '80 and down. All the late model F-bodies and PT-Looser ruined the whole deal for me. :(

I had to provide insurance info when I registered last year.

I realize I'd be missing out on a few neat late models, but it'd be worth it to me. Just not really into new cars.

I totally understand Mark; I didn't spend any time looking at the late-model stuff this year on the Tour. But if it's the only way I can go I'd still take the car, just to see all the other cool stuff.

The 2006 kick off is not far from where I live. I may be able to pick some guys up at the airport and store shipped in cars if needed.

I'm not sure I want to spend the extra 6k miles gettin ghtere and back either, I'm still on the fence, but BOY! That's a lot of driving/hauling, etc. Mid-America is a better idea, and of course, West Coast, well, can't beat it. Get's a little toasty in the desert, but at least it's a dry heat.

*note about dry heat* After 115 it doesn't matter what kind of heat it is, you don't really want to be out in it.

If anyone is going adm does not have rooms, were are going in a group and have 15 rooms in each city. There are only a couple openings left. We are also have our own security, guy with a gun, watching our groups stuff at night, and a coupe of support vehicles.

If anyone is interested, let me know we can get you full details.
