I bought this car several summers ago and had big dreams for it, but I've come to realize that I need to focus my efforts and finish some of my projects that I've already started.

I know that several years ago it was on the road and driving. The guy I bought it from used to cruise it around town. It has not been started since I've owned for about 3 years.

It has a newer top that is in pretty good shape. The interior is in OK shape. It has some rust issues, but nothing too severe that I can tell. It is still structurally sound, but would need some panel patches.

It has the original 215 V8 auto.

In the pics you can see that the previous owner started taking the car apart and for whatever reason started to spot putty some areas :smack: That would need to be stripped off.

Anyway, you don't see these cars very often which is why it appealed to me.

All of the trim etc. is in the trunk and the best of my knowledge is all there. If someone wants to come look at it, I would need a little notice as it is stored in a friends garage.

wow the interior is in an amazing shape... I mean, comparing it to the exterior, and it looks great too, I really like the style, nice for a good restoration

The exterior isn't all that bad - It look much worse than it is. Like I said the previous owner started to sand the body and spot putty. If the body was stripped it is in better shape than most '62 automobile from the midwest.

Nope - still have it. I've been tossing around the idea of just finishing it and then trying to sell it. I'm just not sure I have the time right now and my heart is really with some other projects right now.

PM me if you are interested and I will give you my number to discuss.

Just an update - yep I still have this thing. I did take the time to get it running since one of the guys interested in it wanted to know if it would run. It has a bad fitting on the fuel line at the car, so it leaks fuel, but I splashed a little gas in the car, tossed a battery in it and it fired right up with no smoking etc..

It is certainly not roadworthy, but it does answer the questions as to whether or not the engine is still good. I can say for certain that the answer is YES.

Not than anyone remotely cares, but I thought I would post that I finally sold this one. I just kept it posted - - it took awhile, but good ole Craigslist found me a buyer!
