With the '68 Sold and "Full Throttle Face-lift" is going away this week- I have a new toy:
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg268/LS168/69%20Camaro/69Camaro005.jpg
This is obviously going to be a full build!!!:unibrow: - but the good news is it has all the right things wrong with it- it is a very solid car that needs some quarter-panel work.
My intentions are to take what I learned from the '68 and step it up a few notches. I want to help support some really awesome people in this industry who have become awesome friends, so I know for sure it will be sporting Rushforth wheels, Speed-Tech suspension goodies on all 4 corners, an LS motor and three pedals- beyond that- well see!
first order of business is getting it stripped down and to the blasters along with hashing out some details with Jason to come up with some unique ideas to make this '69 stand out from the crowd- who's in for the long haul:D -Chris

Whew-- thank goodness it's a 69 Camaro build---It seems it's been at least a week since we've seen one
Congrads on the new project---Great list of folks you have in your post--Should be a keeper, until you finish it right?
Is this a mini tub--and please--are you going to be using SpeedTech's torque arm setup? Would love to see it in action and an installation thread. Great guys to deal with aren't they?
I've always wanted to ask you--and it would seem obvious, but are you really a "Youth Pastor"? If not, that's a pretty unique screen name.

Yes it will be a mini tub and I will do lots of pics of the install of the SpeedTech torque arm..but it will a while- if you read my previous post...I got a roof to buy. I want to keep this one for a little while after it is done so well do some product testing. They are AWESOME to deal with!
The answer to your question is; yes I was a youth pastor for years, We are now in process of starting a new church in the near future, a cool laid back kind of place.
This weekend I am honored to do the wedding ceremony for Jared Hancock Proprietor of J-Rod and Custom- congrats Buddy!!!

If my pastor was involved in muscle cars as much as you were Id be going to church way more often. Glad to see youve stuck with it. My little ones just came back from Awana camp.

Hey, any progress or pics?
I am sending the car out to get blasted in a week. I moved into a new shop, went on vacation and picked up my first full PT build for a customer (that's another story) Anyways it's been some huge mile-stones lately but also way busy. The shop is looking sweet, nothing fancy but wayyyy more room!
pics will be coming soon. BTW I'll start a threat on the customer's car- it's gonna be fun!!- Chris

It is on the rotisserie sitting in the corner of the shop waiting for a free day to take it in to the blasters. The shop is going great we are settled in. My first priority is to my customer's car(the Trans Am inspired '68. We got it back from blasting and got a bunch of clean metal laying in the scrap bin:_paranoid . We ended up using the roof and drivers door EVERYTHING else was junk.
I will post pics soon! Thanks Guys- Chris
