Cullen took his 66 Chevelle 300 to THE CRUZ car show in Port Orchard Wa. today where there were over 500 participants. Much to our surprise he won an award for the best 60's car. It was pretty cool considering the car was a sub 15k build, total expenses. Here's a few pics with the car supporting Rushforth Concepts.

thanks for the compliments everybody! it was a real cool surprise to win something. my dad's a champ! i was at my place 2.5 hrs away and wasn't able to make it down in time to get it in the show so he woke up REAL nice and early and parked it down there for me :hail:
BTW what size wheels/tires are they?
18's in the front and 19's in the back, rears are 10 in wide. i can't remember the tire sizes off the top of my head

Nice car!! I love that body style.
Congrats!! Hey, I met you at the Puyallup GG show. I was with Tony Rose late Saturday afternoon talking with you by your sons car. We also looked at the silver first gen next to the Chevelle. It was nice to meet you then Lenie. I hope to see you guys around in the future. Very nice build Cullen, I'd also like to know more about it and see some more pics too.

Congrats! That is a sweet ride. The father-son relationship and cars can be a very cool thing. I remember when I won my first award a couple years ago, my dad had his car there too, but started tearing up when they announced my name. It was pretty cool, he was just really proud. I'm sure you guys have that same type relationship.

Thanks Eric, it was good to meet you also. Cullen does a great job to continually come up with ideas and solutions to better his cars handling and stance on a college budget. You know, search, search and search some more for good deals and create workable results. Great expierences. By the way, he'll be graduating this qtr as a manufacturing engineer, maybe he'll be designing a few parts for us all in the future?:unibrow:
