I have seen a Camaro on ebay with the exhaust ran threw the rear quarter before the tire and really like the look and would like to do it but the auction ended and can not find any info on how to do it and will it cause too much heat for the paint and panels.

"thru" is simplified and informal version of "through".But thanks for trying.Though English is my second language,it seize to amaze me how many people that were born and raised in US can't spell ,wonder how they graduated from school.

Heck yeah. Say through, thru, threw, throo, or true. I get the meaning and I'M the last person to be getting on anyone for spelling or grammar. I AM one of those americans that cant spell worth a crap. But it wasnt the american schooling that dropped the ball, it was my choice to drop the schooling. I pay for it now with slow response times on any written text. Spell check is my best friend. But yeah, thru is a common usage of the idea. JR

If that is what your trying to help me with i did not ask for a spelling teacher. Sorry if your so smart and my incorrect grammer bothers you and you have to try to put people down because you are so smart. If you would do this to every thread everyone would think your a *ick. Thanks for not contributing to the thread.

I'm not sure how to do it, but a lot of pro-mod drag cars have fender exhaust, GT1 cars like the C6R have it to I believe... Maybe you can find some usefull info on one of those sites. I was going to check for you on a site called yellowbullet, but it seems to be down right now.

Got some sand in your vagina? You must be 70TWO NOVA's girlfriend,,
you want my contribution? There are plenty of cars with exhaust routed "threw" the quarters, anyone with average fabbing skills and common sense should be able to get that done, some cars have different suspension set-up and it may be difficult to route the exhaust ,so some of the actual body structural areas must be cut out and re-worked and reinforced around new exhaust, spend few hours checking out galleries at Ironworks,Bruning or Troy's sites, you'll get an idea what it takes, good luck

I believe my previous post had alot more info than the rest replies in this thread, if you consider 36 years old an old fart, then you're probably still in middle school:) ,I am a very straight forward and some people might think I'm an a**hole,it's just a first impression to some of the people who got pissed off at me because of the truth, word of advice, use as many search engines as you know of,but Google.com works pretty well last time I checked, if you ever need help, advice or just pics,it usually works every time . You are welcome.

i have been out of middle school for about 28 years lol. I only asked after i had googled and looked threw every search possible in the teamcamaro forum and also in here. i could not find any write ups anywhere much less any pictures for ideas. and mostly i am not worried about my skill of doing it i was mainly worried about the paint peeling if the exhaust was ran "through" lol i spelled it correct did i not. And i did not know if people were using echo tips just ran "through" the panels and supported like it looks in the pictures i could find. I already had a plan on how to run them i was just asking if anyone else had done this before besides drag cars as asked in my first thread. And i am sorry if google did not work for me i thought this was a form of search engine as you say that is why i asked the question on here.

:) It may be a common use, but it is still incorrect. :D

I do not believe anyone "put you down" for your incorrect spelling, and no one mentioned your grammar at all. On the other hand, proper spelling and grammar make a post easier to read and comprehend, and thus you will receive a more germane answer.

Punctuation, capitalization, and breaking different thoughts into different paragraphs will all make your posts easier to read and comprehend.
As for the responses you have received, many were meant "tongue-in-cheek" so to speak. If you have taken offense, I apologize, we're all just having a bit of fun.
