I am by no means a great welder, and really not even that good. I am pretty decent with gas welding, but that won't do frames. Anyway, I do know what you are supposed to do, and I know what it looks like when you get it right.

So when he mentioned that he wanted to learn, I told him I had a lot of frame seams that needed welded up, and because it was frame metal, it didn't have to be perfect or all that pretty. So he came up today and helped me get a good start. I snapped some shots of him welding and grinding. All in all, we had a good time!

I snapped these with my iphone, so they aren't really great shots.

It's nice. We've had sort of a strained relationship, my parents and I, for a few years now. Things have been on the mend this past year, and it's nice to be able to do things like this.

That's so great for all the reasons. Thanks!
