I would be willing to set up an event for forum members that would take place within the Midwest F Body weekend at Road America if there is enough interest.

If you have not been to or heard of Road America, it is one of the premier tracks and facilities in the country and the site of the 2009 SCCA Runoffs which will be held the week before this event.

Interested parties please reply to this thread, PM or email me.

Road America is located 1 1/2 hours north of Milwaukee and approximately 3 hours north of Chicago.

Jeff,
I did not see your car on the roster list. I was going to try to go on Sat. It looks like spots are filling up. I have not driven on that track in two years.

I have not signed up yet. I figured I had time since spring session took a long time to fill up.

I thought there would be more response here and PT.com. Wonder if it is the cost or the fact that Wisconsin is near the edge of the earth?

Well, maybe its no different than in the past. Theyll all sign up at the last minute. Personally I may wait till I get there. Ive prepaid in the past and then couldnt make it.
Bringing the vette, newly dented in the rear. (non track related, minor)
Are you taking the camaro, it is done right?

Camaro is on the road. I hesitate to say done, are they ever? Working on the EFI tune whenever I get time. Telly said he was talking to you and your Camaro is at Ironworks. I thought a shop around here was working on it...

What year Vette, and how did you dent fiberglass?

Good to hear your hitting pavement!

It started as you know at Perfection Autosports in Grafton. I commissioned Ironworks for the chassis setup only. Rodger has been doing other aspects of metal work on the body primarily for chassis set up. Im very statified with dealing with them and will see how far Rodger and I take it with his shop.

Vettes an 07 Z, I guess Id say its more of a hole/crack. Waiting in traffic to turn at stop sign eased out about 5', lady behind me thought I was going all the way and got hit. (Week after Columbus) Been having some bad luck with vehicles this year. One of our employees total out a co. truck (on a onauthorized satuday) and when I shipped the camaro to Ironworks it was dented in 2 areas. Rodger took photos while the trucker was still there. Im still fighting that one with freight co.

I will be bringing the ATS trailer that Im still trying to sell to R.A. Did you find one yet. Ive had offers but theve been lowballers. Most dont want to spend the funds for a all aluminum enclosed.
