i am really impressed with what i see here on this website. you are all one big community and help each other out any way you can. i recently started working on a car as a side project, the people im working for had some ideas and together we decided to go w/ the g-machine set up. i have actually been talking to frank at prodigy and he has helped me with some guidance and got some parts for us.
we have been working on the car for roughly 2-3 months now and have gotten it completely torn down to the shell and starting back together as parts start to trickle in.
overview of the planned build-
suspension- front- art morrison front clip
rear - chris alston g-link with fab 9 housing and moser internals
i am going to build a frame to connect front and rear
wilwood brakes front and rear w/ hydro-boost set-up
drivetrain- fuel inj. bbc- looking for something in the 600hp range
tremec tko 6 speed
nodular iron 9"center section- not sure of brand yet
body- doing a 1- 1 1/2" body drop
shaving all emblems, door handles, etc.
welding and smoothing all seems
custom rear tail lights
tucking front and rear bumpers
maybe more depending on owners desires

this is all an overview of whats to come and plans may change somewhat as we go, currently we have the rear suspension and i am mounting that at this time, we have boxed the rocker panels and began to strengthen the body up.
i would appreciate any advice and insight, i will post pics as we go to keep everyone in the loop, i just hope i can come close to what i have seen from the cars on here. thanks again to frank for everything he is doing for me and i look forward to hearing from yall and seeing what you have going on.

i havent figured out how to post pics yet, what is the easiest way to get them loaded onto here, i tried putting them on flickr but that didnt seem to work.
thanks trent

yeah i have been watching the web site for about a month and really liked the way everyone helps each other and actually know what they are talking about, and atleast dont pretend to know more than they do.

yeah it should be a very very nice car when we are done, i am installing the chassisworks g-link and fab 9 housing tonight, any tips before i dive in. everything looks straight forward and i have it all mocked up just wanted ask.

also i have plenty of pics but i am still striking out with getting them on the forum. i am sure its easy but im not picking it up too quick.

well we have been working on the car, the g-link is 90% installed and fab 9 housing in hung under car, we are in the process of making front mounts for the lower control arms but had to finish the body drop before we could be sure where they should go. wound up with approximately 1 3/4 inch body drop. now starting into installing mini-tubs/ wheel houses and quarter panels. so far seems like lots of progress but will slow down as the body mods start im sure. more pics will be posted soon.

p.s. i love this forum i have learned a lot from everyone and its really cool to see people posting what they are doing to share with others
