That one looks really nice. I like the darker finishes myself. The thing about ordering with Frank is the level of customer service regardless of brand you buy. He can get pretty much whatever you want at a fair price. If you see one you like, ask if he can get it. I'm not saying any other vendor is bad, just that we all know Frank is a stand up guy and will treat you right.
DSE has a nice front runner too, Billet Specialties, Vintage Air, Zoops, March...
I Think it comes down to pulley style and finish. All the companies have good products. I am going with a vintage air unit for a big block. From Frank when i am ready to order.

Last I heard some were having issues with this....
There's quite a few diff set ups. I've never had an issue using billet specialties. I think I've done 10 + set ups and never had an issue
I like the newer style Billet Specialties setup, and I think the Wegner setup is really nice, too. You can't go wrong with either of those.
What finish are you looking to have on it?

I agree with the Wegner set up. I've seen some March set ups in person and they were ok looking.
GOOD LUCK!

At this point I would avoid it. I've had issues with mine that he was going to take care of months ago. If he won't do what he says for me as an admin of a site he wants to be a supporting vendor for, he sure as hell isn't going to take care of you.
I just bought a Vintage Air unit, and in my opinion it's an excellent unit. The Wegner is great bang for the buck, the Billet Specialties and others are nice too, but it depends on the look you're trying to achieve. I was going for a more OEM look without the polished pieces. Wegner also fits that bill. Here's a pic of the VA unit, pic isn't good but gives you an idea.

I like the Sidewinder that ATS puts out. I'd call Tyler and see if he has one in stock. If not it might be a bit of a wait on the back order.

Im looking for black, no polished stuff for me. That said I want to be able to tell I have aftermarket pulleys. The Wegner looks so basic without a lot of detail. Thats too bad about the synister , it looked sooo nice!

My preferences are the ATS setup, the Vintage Air setup, and the Wegner setup.
All offer very good stable and proven bracket setups and look very "purposeful" to me.
If you only take looks into account, I put the ATS kit taking the top place for looks (the spoke-style pulleys are great!), with the Vintage air setup 2nd and the Wegner 3rd.
Synister is/was having supply issues and the Billet Specialties setup just looks too "Street Rod" looking to me.
I have a Vintage Air setup for my TT LS2 myself... I wanted an ATS setup but simply could not justify the price (sorry Tyler!)

Yes the ATS setup is the chit! But man like you I just cant see spending that much cash. 3k maybe 3600.00 no way!
I say go with the VA unit as shown above. Decent price, great quality and support and it looks really nice without the "bling" factor. That setup Jody has is about what I am shooting for on my big block if I can. :D Just my.02

yeah i agree the ats sidewinder is my faviorate setup and sounds to be perfect for what you said you wanted: not blingy but notable aftermarket...
you also gotta take into account that with tylers kit its truley complete and comes with all the top end acc, not just cheaper ones to soley "complete" the kit.

Wegner, VA, DSE, Zoops, all good kits. Pick one you like and just make sure to stay with a kit that uses factory stlye belt tensioner to prevent pre-mature accessory failures.

We have Billet Specialties. Your all set if that is what you want. Great looking system. We have sold a few. Call me this afternoon.
That's the 2nd Generation LS accessory drive from BS. Their first generation had about 50 pulleys and a 30 ft long belt. lol This one is much nicer.

In the above pic there doesn't appear to be alot of belt wrap around the power steering. Is that normal of most setups ? Anyone know of any issues ?
The wrap looks pretty much the same as my setup and I haven't had any problems.... knock on wood. lol
