does anyone have any input on their preference of battery? the battery will be powering a 440 and an audio system. jl audio amps, 1 jl audio 12 w7 and boston acoutic pro 60's (2 sets)

Nice equipment. I'd run Kinetik's instead, but out of the two choices, the Stinger is superior. IIRC, they are a completely sealed battery where as the Optima's I know for a fact are not.

A Kinetik 1800HC will more than handle anything you could hope to throw at it. I'm running one on my truck along with two HC600's or "Cap Killers" and am running 1300w RMS through over 70" of speakers, reaching over 130dB on a daily basis for extended periods of time. My headlights only dim slightly when I'm playing my USACI SPL CD's.

The only issue I've had with this battery is that I had to make a custom tie-down for it.
