Sorry, I forgot to post this. :( This road is used in MANY TV commercials and this picture (link below) doesn't really even give a feel for what a beautiful location and road this is. It's located on the lower Columbia River in the "Columbia River Gorge". The Gorge it self is a fantastic drive on the WA side just for the pure enjoyment of it. ;) :thumbsup: It's just fantastic and I think will become a real "Place to be" in the next few years. There were some real nice cars (30 or so) there including a small block Cobra, '67 Camaro, '69 Boss Mustang, Sunbeam Tiger, '60 'vette, several Alfa's, Porches, Jag, etc. If you are in the area next year it's a real cool road in a real neat setting. :thumbsup: If I'm back to work soon enough I want to build a car for it next year. Maryhill's Loops Road Hill Climb Race
Vintage sports cars from the 1930s through 1960s will traverse singly up the Loops Road three mile course. Loops Road was the first asphalt paved road in the Northwest and this section was restored in 1998. The race is organized by the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts. Spectator admission fee to be announced. Refreshment vendors on site. Loops Road is located on Washington Scenic Route 14, four miles east of the Museum.
