Do you need the full hinge, or could you get by with a rebuild kit?

I picked up a set of rebuild kits from Rick's first gen and had good luck with them. As of a year ago, it seemed they had good full hinges as well. Their customer service was good, although I haven't dealt with them since they got bought out by Ecklers.

The new repro hinges are very weak, to cheesy of steel used in them. They bend and lose door adjustment over time. I would source some used originals if yours are not rebuildable. Maybe E bay?

Sounds like you may just need new bushings.

Buy a bushing and pin kit with oversize bushings so you can drill them out to a new round hole. They work out very good. Much better then new repros

I used the same kit on my car and the hinges work great now. Frank is 100% right on repop hinges.
