I am curious what dealers are charging around the country for the new Camaro.
I found one last night at a local dealer. 2010 SS, silver, 6sp auto, 21 in wheels, pretty well loaded. I didn't think to look what trim level it was but MSRP was 45k with an additional 10k in dealer markup.
So is $55,000 the going rate for these?
No, I am not buying one. Just curious.

My dealer is getting 2, 2SS/RS models, which I think are around the 32-35k asking price. One of the salesmen there said that they are going to mark BOTH of them UP 10K!!!!:faint:
Nice huh?!?! I hope they sit on the lot for that!:unibrow:

My little brother ordered one two weeks ago at MSRP. If GM is still there its going to be in early September.

I live in south tx. and 2 guys have already taken pickup on their SS camaros and paid 36k for both fully loaded as far as I know minus the 21" wheels but really you could buy some better more custom wheels for the mark up price of the 21s any way.

the dealer near me at first was charging 1000 over sticker. but the owner found out and mailed a check to the person that had already taken delivery for the 1000 dollars and they are just charging sticker now.

They can keep smoking their crack pipes. I would rather have a new C6, local dealer had several under $50k

That is a class act. Given there were no really bad negative experiences, that dealer would instantly earn my repeat business.

When i tried to order one months back, the dealer wanted 1000$ depoist and they said that msrp plus 5000$ dealer charged. i laughed and left. Dealer went out of business suddenly 2 months ago and buildings and lot are now going to auction.

I know its the new car and everyone seems to want one. But when people are not buying cars and GM is facing a huge up hill battle, may not be the time to charge that crap.

Listing of dealers that have been charging MSRP. No BS markups.
