C-6 Wheels on 64 Chevelle?

I just purchased a set of C-6 corvette wheels for my 64 chevelle. I have stock suspension and have not mini-tubbed the vehicle. The wheel/tire I'm concerned with is, of course, the rear 19X10 wheels w/ P295Zr3019 tires. Has anyone tried this? Any ideas what I'm going to have to do in order to make these work...start from the beginning (including adaptors needed for bolt-pattern). Oh yeah, I have 2 Piston Track GT Baer brakes up front and stock drums in the rear...

Any help is appreciated.

It won't work without a bunch of modifications including minitubs and ideally a much wider rearend because of the offset of the Corvette wheels. You can run a huge spacer but you'll still need minitubs which as you know on that car will require moving the framerails inboard. Check out how Mark Stielow did it on the Malitude which was well documented in Popular Hot Rodding a few years back. Let us know if you'd like some wheels made specifically for your car that won't require tubs or adapters.

agreed. It takes a 3" minitub to run an 11" wide rear wheel on a 64, so there's just no way to package a 10" without moving the rails in and widening the inner wheelwells.
