In talking to someone at the big swap meet this weekend they suggested that I have my car dipped instead of sandblasted to slean up the body and reveal any problem areas. This is supposed to be a organic dip that is safer for the metal. The cost is pretty high and I was wondering if it was worth the investment. Any ideas from the pros?

I have worked on dipped cars and I didn't like what I saw. Everywhere metal lapped and/or two peices are spot welded together there was residual crude and eventually rust. These cars where dipped and re-dipped to neutralize and re-dipped to rinse. Detroit Speed stopped dipping years ago due to these issues.
