New Forgelines and Hoosiers

Sick Paul..17's? Let me know how you like those A6's. I may go with the r888 just so I can use them at the drag strip and road course as well.

Yes, 17s. The Hoosiers are incredible compared to the Eagle GSD3s, but to be honest i don't have a lot of experience to compare them to anything else, i'm a newb to the racing scene. What i found was the car finally started behaving the way i always wanted it to once the Hoosiers were on the car. The A6s are, as i understand it, optimized for autocross and don't require the higher temps needed for the r888 and the Hoosier r6. These and the Kumhos are all pretty excellent tires so hard to go wrong with these brands in this price range i think.

PS my dad spends a good chunk of the year in Vegas and is working on a PT 62 vette as well as a PT 37 chevy P/U--is there an active PT scene there?

Not real active right now. I think that's about to change. I did speak with a pretty cool cat at the autocross last weekend with a 1990 ZR1 and he had A6's. He was extremely happy with them. The way the autocross is set up here, we run 5-6 runs within an hour. That was the only reason I thought I could get by with the R888. The A6 would be better but they wouldn't work on the road course or drags. Way to soft.
