I'm not going to be able to go which is a bummer for me. With the economy and resulting slow down of payments from my customers I cannot spend the money to ship the car back there, flights, motels, etc. I do know those of you that can go really need to do it, the most fun auto-wise you'll ever have.

If anyone has car trouble at or near the Racine stop I will make sure there is shop space available to work in. We will have at least a couple of hoists open for the weekend.
I'll have to figure out a way for people to get in touch with me to get them to the right place.

I'm going to be on the tour from Madison to at least the Michigan stop.

I'm not sure on the rest because I'm also going to the Motorstate Challenge the following weekend in Michigan and would have a week to kill in between the two. Its a long haul from Tenn. back to South Dakota and then back to Michigan a few days later.
Steve, are you heading back to Souix Falls after Detroit, or are you going to do that east coast swing that you had talked about? I might only go as far as Detroit as well.

Hi Scott, I leaning towards heading back home after Detroit and spend the week before heading back for the Motorstate deal. I've got a friend thats willing to bring my truck and trailer to wherever we stop on the tour and pick us up. I thought about trying to find a safe place to leave the car and trailer out there to not have to haul it all the way back to Sioux Falls and then back to Mich. a week later. But if youre going to drive back maybe I'll just drive it back with you.

I have a place that has 24 hour security and plenty of room to put a truck and trailer where I work for however long you need. I will be heading to Motorstate Challenge as well. I am 15 minutes outside of Racine.
Let me know.

Since stop number two is almost literally in my backyard, I am planning to go to Madison and Racine. I can't take any more time off right now. I am in a last minute thrash.
As of today I still need to run fuel lines, run most of the EFI wiring, modify the filler neck on my Ricks tank (my fault not theirs), install the interior, and hope it runs when I am done.
Got my fingers crossed I will see you guys on Saturday.

I haven't gone since 2006, but just last weekend I was thinking about attending the last 3 legs of the tour. it was kind of a spur of the moment thing (how I usually do stuff), but I ended up deciding against it because money talks, and I don't have any.... so it wasn't saying much
to all those going...HAVE A BLAST...wish I was going too

I'm going to be in Madison with my Cutlass, maybe Racine. Due to economics, that is far as I can go, but I have a shoot in Detroit, so I may see you there in my Subaru. Maybe Dayton. I was at "Ohio" George Montgomery's shop today for a shoot and they want me to come back for the Dayton stop, We'll see. Been on the road already for 3 days. My ass is tired.

Drove the car yesterday about 10 miles. No pics, no time, no sleep, just look for a black semi-gloss car with bright yellow RS headlight covers ( just because ) heading up tomorrow morning.
Well, there was a screw up with shipping and I didn't get the 335's, so I'm back on the Michelins and that means I won't be in the Nitto display. Oh well.
