I'm thinking about buying a set of CCW Classics for my car. However, I have some plans for the front suspension that may or may not come to fruition; namely going to 3-4" longer A-arms up front to cut down on scrub radius. Unfortunately if I buy wheels for my current setup I'll need to change backspace on the front wheels if/when I build my longer front LCA/UCA's. Anyone know about how much a backspace change might cost?

Thanks.

I'd like to know his cost on the backspace change too, because I'm down to either Kinesis K18 or the CCW Classics. (Steeeeeeeeve, where arrrrrrrrrreeeeeeee you?) :P

I don't know how close you are to ordering but Weld and DPengineering are both coming out with three piece wheels in the next two months!

I paid about $450 to change the inner sections on my Fikse wheels (2); this included them doing the swap and re-sealing the wheels. But you'll need to contact CCW for a real quote, they may or may not be similar.

$450 for two wheels isn't as bad as I thought, and since the initial price of the CCW's seem to be about 25%-30% cheaper than the Fikse's I would hope their re-hooping charge might reflect that too.

Guess I need to call CCW for an exact cost.

Went through replacing the inner and outer hoops on ONE of my Kinesis rims about 3 years ago. It was $360 before tax/shipping
