All good things must come to an end. Here's a pic on it's way to the new owner...:( .
I don't mind telling you since everyone is probably wondering anyway...$125K. Not exactly what I was hoping for when I finished the car but I can't really complain considering the current economy. ... I pretty much did everything I wanted with this car and then some. Never expected the SMOTY top 5 pick! Had a great time now on to the next one...whatever that may be.

So where did you end up finding a buyer?
Where is the car going?

Seems pretty fair to both parties. Had to sting seeing her go. I guess I just like driving them more than working on them.

Well unfortunately we may never see it again and I highly doubt there will be any updates here unless they come from me. He is an NFL player that doesn't do much on the net from what I can gather. I was a week away from a feature in Camaro Performers too! Bummer. He wanted the car right away and I didn't want to rock the boat. Although it will be coming out in Chevy Rumble next month. We have been talking about a couple other projects of his in the future so it might turn into something, stay tuned...;)

If money was no object I have plenty of ideas. Just not on my wallet. To top this will have to be on someone else's dime. I'm not getting that deep into one again unless I hit the lotto tonight!

How many miles did it have?

I didn't calibrate the speedo until this past winter so it only shows 60 miles from the couple times I took it out in the past few weeks. I probably put 1500 on it last summer. Enough to get a good feel for it. Awesome power, would love another car with an LS7...

I think 125k is a good deal in this economy. You could of gambled and taken it to Barrett Jackson, and not made as much.

Nice job on the sale Jeff, Definately good money, but the economy shouldn't affect an NFL Player.

What a badass car.
I think a 2nd gen with the same theme would be cool.

I'm sure you won't give out his name but how about which team he plays for. I would love to see that in the players parking lot at Candlestick. Go 49ers. Congratulations on the sale.

Congrats Jeff...I think! :wow:
The buyer got himself an incredible deal on an awesome car. I hope he appreciates just how good of a car it is!
I enjoyed having you as part of the GR AutoRama, where the car was the hit of the show and also enjoyed it at Eyes on Design last June.
