Steering column problem. Help

I replaced the cancelation cam, turn signal and went to put everything back together and it will not go back together. Its almost like the snap ring is in the way so i removed the snap ring and still wont seat properly. Any idea's?

I had to replace mine, too... but I can't remember how it all went together. lol Post up a pic if you can.

try having a friend push up on the output shaft while you push everything else down from the top. somtimes the shaft slides down enough to hinder assembly.hope this works for you.
