I’m looking at going with a Dana 60 for my 1968 Chevelle wagon. I want the strongest Truetrac due to the weight of my car. I checked with one of our sponsors, and they would need about four orders to do a group buy. Anyone else interested?

Just curious as to why you would not use the tried and true Chevy 12 bolt? You don't see many Danas in a Bowtie. I'm a die-hard Mopar guy but getting these hardcore Chevy dudes to put anything than a 12 bolt in the rear of their cars is like pulling teeth. Good luck bro.

12 bolt is significantly weaker than the Dana 60. plus, government motors guys don't realize that Dana is not owned by Mopar. It's a separate company. GM uses in house designed differentials until recently when they use Dana brand or American Axle.

I'm gonna get a Dana 60 for my Cuda, but wont be ready to order it for at least a month....probably closer to 2-3 months.
I've got to get me wheels and then do all my measuring for width etc etc.

Did you contact Frank at Prodigy? He has decent prices w/o a formal GP...

Hi Folks,

We are now producing custom built Dana60, and our niche with these is to provide rear anti-lock brakes. We have it in our new brochure that was given out at Hot Rod Power Tour last week. The ABS portion is not ready for release, but the diff can be built for ABS now, then you add our system later.

Detroit True-Trac, large selection of ratios, axles, brake kits, powder coating, pre-installed brake line fittings, vents, prop valve .... all the bases are covered.

PM or email [email protected] if interested. The product is not yet listed on our site, but available now.
