Hello everyone! I've been a member here for only a short time and thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Eric and I live in western Washington. I'm 38 years old, married and have one child, a 5 year old boy.
I have been a car nut as long as I can remember (actually anything with an engine and wheels, wings or tracks!).
I can appreciate all types of cars and racing but my personal interests are in American muscle cars that haul a** around corners as well as in a straight line. (that would be left AND right corners, haha)
Some of the cars I have had in the past are 1964 el Camino, 1965 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4, 1967 F-100 2wd hot rod truck, 1975 Camaro, 1968 rs Camaro, 1979 rs Camaro. I currently have a 1970 rs Camaro and it's a keeper! I should have kept the '68 too (I totalled it, 'nuff said).
I decided to join Lateral-g after seeing how positive and supportive everyone is to each other. I have not noticed alot of ego issues or much negativity either. It's nice to see so many nice cars finished and some really cool projects in the works too.
I am sure I will have a ton of questions as I get further into this as this is my first build of a dedicated PT car and I would really appreciate any and all input from the members here.
Thanks for having me here!
Eric

Thanks for the welcome! I will post pics soon. The car is in bare metal right now and looks like hell for sure. I am just getting over shoulder surgery and will be getting back into the car in the next few weeks.

Anthony, I'm just north of Seattle in the Everett area. I have been watching your car and it's the reason I found this site after reading about it in Camaro Performers Mag.
After seeing how all of the people here pulled together and supported the project I was hooked on this site! I believe that good karma is real, I also believe true friends are few and far between. To have so much of both in one group is amazing!
I'm looking forward to seeing your car in person. I get down to Oregon a few times a year, I have friends in Albany and Corvallis.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of your project camaro. You are right, this site is more about the cars and helping each other out, not like some of the other sites......
