Randy Fish is now a magazine editor (again) and that means I have new jobs :)

One of which is Hometown Hotrodding (Readers Rides).. So here is your chance to easily get into PHR.

email me a GOOD and HIGH RES picture of your car.. the whole car. Usually a front 3/4 shot but whatever looks good. A pic of the car on the track (action pic) would be cool as well.

Put down a little blurb about your car like what has been done to it, how you got it or if you run it hard or not. Oh, and your name and such.

I would like to sprinkle some real PT cars in with the usuall stuff I get in the mail.

Email is [email protected]

You can mail me a regular picture also.. just email me or look in the magazine for the mailing address.

Thanks!

I would, but my best picture is of it in the grass, with windows down, in direct sunlight, with a treeline intersecting the roof... which I took before I read the article telling me not to do that ;)

Opps.. should have made that clear.. Randy got an editors job at a DIFFERENT magazine so he can't freelance for us any more.

You need check out the January issue closely (true street event coverage) .. followed by a future issue as yet to be determined.. ;)

i saw it too....... thought it was kinda strange, as i thought this was your new baby...but the info looked right, and the price seemed about right if you were actually selling

Actually that is a real ad but it was placed forever ago and should have been cancelled by now (I thought it was). That was when I thought I needed a large infusion of cash for a family matter but I found other means so Penny stays :)

Thanks for keeping an eye open though

And keep them submissions comming.. remember that it is better for the pic to be too high res than too low res. Also, info about the car or how you got it is vital if you want the write up to be interesting and personal.

Thanks!

I'm sure most guys here would be all over it Steve, but since a lot of us have projects and not complete cars, you may not be interested.

I guess I could send you a pic of my dust magnet. lol

I seemed to have dumped my file of high-res digital pics of my '69
Here is my only remaining picture (compressed and cropped version :( ) of said picture of the car in the grass, in the sun, with the trees, with the open windows. :willy:

If you can use it, I'll write you up a description, if not, you'll have to wait a couple weeks until I get some better pics. Due to some road-construction, I'd have to drive a mile through mud to find some pavement to park the car on.

Don't see why I couldn't use it.. send the best copy you have with a write-up and I will put it in the loop :)

Even though you broke that many picture taking rules it still look pretty damn good!

Got them Scott! Your first in the bag for the March issue.. nice car.

Just a note to all.. I am guessing when cars will be in since sometimes we get two pages and sometimes just one. I will run just about every car sent in so long as the picture is decent and you give me some info to work with. Personal stuff is cool since it makes it more than a parts list. I put the same effort into a Hometown writeup as I do with a feature, it is just shorter.

Oh, and since I get a lot of Camaros I have to spread them out over a few monts so we don't end up looking like Camaro Performers magazine :)
