Hey everyone on the site. I'm posting this on all the forums I belong to. I also just joined this one thanks to Max Harvard who is on on a photography site I use. I have been interested in getting into SEMA for about 6 years now to see what it is all about and do some networking. I know you need a pass through a company or someone you know. I was just sending this e mail out to see if anyone could help me get into SEMA. Also, If a company is looking for a photographer for this event, I also do photography. I know this is a hard event to get into so thats why I am sending it out to make it visible to everyone on these sites hoping someone might be able to help. Please contact me via phone, e mail, or PM. I'll be praying something good comes about for me. Thank you

Also, This is my first post so I will tell a little about me. I am an Industrial Design student graduating this summer looking to get into Aftermarket Automotive Parts Design because it is my passion and hobby. I have been designing my own parts, detailing cars, restoring old classics, and doing motor swaps for about 6 years. I drive a 1998 dakota r/t with a mild motor build and many exterior and suspension upgrades. Interior I have swapped many things but I am looking to redesign the whole interior in more of a luxury sport style similar to an Infiniti or something along those lines. Clean, custom, sporty look. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me or contact me however. If you want photos, I have plenty.

Thanks everyone

welcome- I saw alot of people there last year that had press badges on- I don't know what kind of credentials you need, but if you freelance for an automotive based publication that could be your ticket

Agree. I just need to find someone to freelance for. I will keep an eye out and keep trying. I have contacted everyone I know in my area but no one really goes anymore due to taxes charged or something. It gets too expensive. I am going to try to keep pushing them but if anyone else here can help me out. Please do..

Thank you for the welcome!

You have to jump through A LOT more hoops to get Media credentials, getting in as a buyer would be a lot easier. I had to supply a ton of stuff to get my Media badge.

Do you know anyone that is in any sort of automotive business?

I've worked at an auto sales place for 7 years and know a lot of body shop people. I also know a lot of small business people for dakota products. My friend last year got buyer passes from a local company. Do you know how I could get those through someone who has an automotive place? that would definitely be possible!

Definitely keep me posted. That would be great. I'm still searching for a few buyers passes and I will continue to keep my search going. Thanks for keeping me in mind and keep me posted on the status of your car getting in:thumbsup: ... Also, just checked out your website, I've seen your work around New England. I am going to try to make it to the open house on May 9th, It sounds like a blast
