Well, I've been hangin out here for about 3 months now trying to get ideas and absorb as much as I can listening to all the great info you all share but I haven't posted any pics of my build, so here we go....
I have been working seriously on this for about 6 months (although i have had this car for about 6 years!)...I dont have the budget of many of the other builds here but when I get done I will be happy as hell none the less!!

DSE mini tubs and leaf springs with relocators and 3" drop...Heidts front subframe with 2" drop, wilwoods all around, Q-a1 adjustable front coil overs...old-school 383 stroker roller motor, built by myself-should be about 500-520 hp to RW.....Edelbrock carb for mock up only, gonna go with a quick fuel or barry grant...getting ready to strip down and do some minor body work...fill marker lights, coat underside, etc...Will post more as I go.....

Nice project. Keep the pictures coming.

What color blue is that? Will that be the color of the car?

Color is from 2007 nissan 350z...I have the numbers somewhere if you need them...Yes, the rest of the car will be that color, and I am thinking... some gun-metal gray racing stripes too!

Can anyone tell me how much I should ask for the stock front sub frame from this car...?

been a while since update so here are a few pics for now...I decided to go with a 4-link rather than the leafs and got the new front subframe under it...also had to redo the firewall, the last guy was a crook (over 1/2 inch of bondo on the firewall and very poor welds...started cracking).... Anyway it is right this time!!!

Robertlee --

I don't want to tell you how to do things - and I'm a complete amateur at most all of this stuff myself -- but -- when you're slinging that bondo around - make sure you've roughed the area with some 80 grit (at least) to give the bondo a place to bite into. Slick, flat, sheet metal needs to be clean clean clean and roughed up.

Sorry -- I just noticed it (bondo on what appears to be on sheet work with no apparent prep) in these shots of the firewall work and maybe I should keep my big yap shut....
