Here's my entry for this month...

For as long as I can remember my dad would bring home these crazy $300 cars like lost puppies. When one'd break he'd junk it and somehow find another. I drove this 68 Torino wagon when I was 16 for a short while until I bought my 69 Malibu. One evening showing off to a friend that a station wagon could do a burnout the brakes failed (or so that's what seems to have happened) and I kissed a large concrete light pole base. Ooops. Would've made a sweet hot rod until I goobered it up.

Had I got to keep the car and had the funds, I'd have done something like this. Mostly set up to be a simple driver/ race car hauler and support vehicle, it would be equipped with a few basic suspension upgrades including 3.55's in a 9" and a 2" drop, 18" wheels, big brakes, a stout torquey big block featuring FI, and a C6 with a Gear Vendors over drive to split gears while hauling and a little better mileage on the long runs. Body mods include high beam buckets plumbed to cool the front brakes, a Cobra Jet Torino hood and emblem, blacked out window trim and door handles, and factory style graphics. Basically stock interior with a decent sound system and we're done.

That thing rocks dude! Orange, cool stripe styling ;) and good choice in year. As cool as the lines on that are, it's a surprise more folks don't hot rod these. Good on ya, excellent rendering!

OK everyone, we've got till 12:00 midnight Pacific time Saturday to get things up, keep 'em coming!

Here's mine. Rendering was done using 3ds Max. Background photo was taken by a friend while in Arizona.

Sorry I missed this one too. I was really looking forward to this one. Things just keep coming up (this time it was some more work, but strep really got me down for a while this time.). I don't think I have posted these here before, but this is the car that really got me started thinking about doing the whole rendering thing. The owner had the idea of the hockey stripes but thought a two tone would look good but couldn't vision it. just remember these are early ones. Part of the reason I wanted to do some new ones. Love the wagon and wish I could photchop like that SVT, and I always have liked the orange ZVT.
