Hey, did the Corvette win that deal.. seems that way from all the screen time it got. lol (the video says to "watch the action to see who wins..")

I need to slip Chad (the video guy) a few bucks next time.

Am I the only guy wanting a longer video? Holy crap that would be cool. There were some great cornering shots in the video.

Oh, I agree.. the Vette just oozes (sp?) attitude.. My car just looks like an old Camaro with big rollers. lol

A longer video would be great.. more track action.

That was such a good time!! I too want more video!! So looking forward to the 09 event. Hope a few more LG guys and gals can make the event next time...that half the fun.

I talked with Chad today (guy that made that vid)

I think I came up with an idea. The reason it would cost so much for a video would be how much it costs to produce it.

So I suggested he just dump a bunch of footage on a DVD and put in some cool music.. call it "Opitam Invitational 08 - Raw and Uncut" .. lol

That way he could justify making another longer vid. I said I think we wouldn't mind having low production value, we just want more action.

Thoughts?

I just helped Chad shoot a trans story he's freelancing for us.. so he owes me sort of.. lol

I told him if he can get the price down to 20 bucks he would sell quite a few. I will keep on him about it.

I will pass that along.. but when asking for favors I try not to get too picky. :yes:

Maybe have the music fade down when there's cool engine sounds to be heard?

Next year I'm going to have several vid cameras at the event...

Again, sounds good. I plan on having one video camera with multiple HD memory cards.
