I can double check my notes at the shop, we have 3 '69 Camaros/F-birds with 18's on the back w/ no tubs. Generally, a 18x9.5" wheel will fit with a 5.5" backspace on a stock 10 or 12-bolt.

Thanks for the info, will the 5" backspace on the front rub the subframe or control arms.

I've got 5" BS fronts, it will rub the subframe unless you have some steering stoppers.

I think the 18's fill out the wheel wells perfect. One of the toughest decisions is what wheel to go with. You can make or break your car. You guys made a great choice. I appreciate all the advice I can get.

I keep watching the For Sale forum just in case someone gets tired of looking at their wheels.

Ive heard rumours that us racing ie; tt2s are now chinese made ? any truth in that .Im changing up to 18s from my now 17s. Has the quality suffered?

PS, ryan i think you need a new set of rims , want to sell:unibrow:

Sorry man,I sold six sets last year so I'm fresh out of backup wheels.

usa-69z,
TTII's are made in China and yes,the quality and service is worthless.
If and when you ever receive what you ordered, they are A)either damaged or have bad welds that won't hold air or B)they'll require 9 oz of weight to balance.
Either way,not good...there are plenty of great,American-made wheels by any number of vendors that sponsor right here on this site.
Avoid American Racing at all costs.

I would sell them in a heartbeat if my car was mini-tubbed. And some new polished Fikse Profil 5s 18's have been in my eye for a while now.
