I will be looking around the show and would like to meet any of you who will be there.
Chris, if the BBQ is still going to happen then, I'd be happy to pick up supplies on the way down. I also have alot of extra folding chairs and tables if you need more of that type of stuff. I can toss it all in the truck and bring it down ahead of time to set up. ( I live in Stanwood and my parents live 15 min from the fairgrounds in Spanaway)

I'm planning on coming down but will only stay for the day. Thinking Saturday would be best. Are there any other events that take place say on Friday or Sunday that I would be missing out on if I only came for the one day? How far off the I-5 are the fair grounds?

Puyallup is about 10 miles off I-5, the party would be Friday night- would be cool if you can make it, but Sat is definitely the best show day:D

Hi all -- I see from the posts here that there is a bbq being planned for the show... How cool is that!

Anyway - I "assume" that this is at the fairgrounds Friday night of the show?? Can I help with supplies - tent - etc? I have a 10X10 pop up... and about a dozen folding chairs (the usual car show variety).
:wow:

I was digging around my house today getting stuff ready for a garage sale and got the tables out, found most of my folding chairs too:thumbsup:
Let me know what I can do to help in the way of getting things together for your BBQ.

Chris --- I couldn't figure out how else to do this -- and don't want to hijack this thread -- but here's the 55 Post car I'm building for a buddy that had a stroke and couldn't do it himself... it's an AME chassis - LS2 - Tremec 6 speed car -- done with 210 black and silver interior...

Chris ---

I will be there for sure -- and most likely will bring my BIL RUDY -- you met him at Tim and TJ's. So we'd be TWO - on in my case since I'm about 1 and a half people... okay - skip the comments. LOL

I will gladly contribute - food - money - and will bring some folding chairs...

Guys --- Sorry I ended up MIA!! Rudy and I left the fairgrounds at 6 - rolled up to the first light - and the beast fell silent... ROH! ROH! I quickly checked the fuel pump fuse -- it was good to go - I switched the main battery switch off - and then on - jumped in and she fired right up - then in my rush to 'get 'er going' -- I jumped on 512 going the WRONG way... by then I got to thinking that if she acted up again - I'd be spending half the night - going to Bellevue to fetch the trailer - coming back and loading up a dead car - this all on Friday night - after getting up at O'Dark thirty to get down there this morning... SO - being the OLD MAN that I am -- I said -- I don't think so... and just headed home crossing my fingers that I wouldn't be FORD... (found on road dead).

I was really really looking forward to the get-together! But after a long day - just didn't want to chance having some unknown issue - as the sun set - etc.

Hope everyone had a good time!
