I have a 68 mustang coupe for sale. My wife is having our first child in august and we need to save as much as possible so she can take some time off after the baby arrives. The engine is out of a 98 markVIII. It ran fine but does have 180k miles on it. The wheels are BBK RK's 18" with nitto's. Have all the glass, trim and seats. Have a new factory rad. support. I bought the car knowing it needed floor pans. But, later found the frame was pretty eat up too and one thing led to another. THe body is in really good condition. I have $10k invested asking $8k o.b.o. I have plenty of pictures if anyone is interested or has any questions PM me.

Here is some more info about the car. It is not a full frame. The rear rails are in good shape so I built a frame and tied it to the rear. The rear suspension is a triangulated 4-link which I designed using cad. The 4-link bars are made of 1 1/4" x .095 4130 chromemoly and the rod ends are polished stainless steel that use poly bushings. The upper bars are longer in length due to the triangulation. Which keeps the upper and lower pivot points in the same place so the pinion does not change angles when traveling up and down. The front suspension is a Chris Alston http://cachassisworks.com/cac_library_7160.html G-Machine cross member, control arms, and spindles. You will have to buy the steering rack from Chris Alston because the x-member is made to a certain width the rack needs to match it in order to keep the steering geometry correct. The rear cross member has a 11"x5" I.D. driveshaft hoop and 4" I.D. 1/4" wall exhaust ports. The trans mount was also designed using cad and has clearance designed in for 3" exhaust and uses urethane bushings. The rearend is a 9" ford out of a truck it has 3 1/4" tubes. I have narrowed it and the ends are just tack welded on to make sure every thing is going to fit. I do have a fixture for welding housing ends on a 9" so they are straight if you would prefer that. The center section is stock with a 3.90 gear. The axles have been shortened and either need to be resplined or new ones bought they are 31 splined. The frame in front of the front crossmember still needs to be made. I was going to use the factory rad support( which I have a new one) because the width of the frame fits it perfect. The firewall is made of 16 guage and is welded but needs some finish work. It does not have a floor. I have some 18 guage that I have started cutting for the floor just havent had time lately to get anything done. I also have 1 3/4" tubing for the headers and 3" MEGS collectors with S.S. V-band clamps. It does need coilovers front and rear, breaks front and rear, clutch. The engine is a 4.6 DOHC 32 valve out of a 98 mark8(I also have a 302 and C-4 that came out of the car that can go with) , Quicktime bellhousing that you can use a t-5 or a Tremec. I have a t-5 W.C. out of a corba which is strong enough as long as your not using slicks. Have all the glass, trim, interior althought I was going to make a custom dash an one off interior. The body is in really good shape and has only been painted once. I should mention that all the brackets and tabs on the car, rearend have been cut out on a waterjet so everything lines up perfect. Some of the frame was mig welded but 90% of the whole car has been tig welded. I am asking $8000 O.B.O. You can call me if you like
