I have some good ones, but I brought the wrong lens to the shows, but still came away with some good shots. Ill post them tomorrow. Thanks to Jason at Gearhead the the work on my car, and you guys have some great stuff coming out. Very nice work you guys have been doing. I think Jason and his crew including my car won a ton of awards. Not sure how many but it was impressive. I have pictures of that as well. :D

Yes GREAT crew to work with, my car has never looked so good. If you need something done, then I would suggest giving them a call.

More Pics

Mike's car "Mdprovee''s car is seriously nice. It's a beautiful looking car all the way around. My crummy pictures do not do it justice. I need to learn how to fiddle with the settings, so sorry the smaller pictures didn't crop out so well, but the originals are ok.

Jason and the guys won quite a few awards, I don't know them all. He will have to chime in to tell you. Mike and I got 3rd and 4th in mild pro touring out of 21 or 22 competing cars. Not bad since the top 2 were not drivers, just show pieces, (or at least at this point not drivers) I have pictures of one of the winners somewhere.

That's cool, you gotta feel pretty good about that!

I'd like to see the 1st and 2nd place trailer queens...lol

They were really nice cars though. That mustang shelby 500 clone was a work of art. I would love to have that car. I was happy because all the paint work on my car was not completed as of the show, (not Jason's fault at all) and MD's car didn't have mirrors, but the paint work on that car was awesome. I know Mike's loving his car right now.
Also Mike and I have the only 2 sets of Marquez trunk hinges right now. I don't know how Jason got them (big huge thanks by the way) Those things are seriously bad ass. Big beefy sealed units with shocks. Not yet installed. Ill take pictures of those when it's done.

In the mild pro-touring class, Mike B. and Mike P. were only beat out by the '66 Mustang "Terminator" we brought (2nd place) and by a Super clean '70 Mustang built by East Bay Muscle Cars (1st place).

My LS2 powered red Camaro Conv't took 1st place in the convertibles class, and a '69 RS/SS conv't we built took 2nd place.

The 1969 GTO Judge we built/brought placed 2nd in the restored class- probably only because the door wasn't open & the customer preferred to have his trunk black instead of Zolatone splatter painted.

The 1971 Chevelle Conv't w/ 555 big block also took 2nd in its class.

Not bad for daily driver cars that didn't really go to compete.

We had a great time, met some awesome people, and were VERY well received!!

Congrats to all.

I have seen that 70 Mustang up close at Good Guys and his shop in Brentwood, and it is an awesome and deserving car.

Thanks guys, we actually had the engine/trans out, interior gutted, and glass out one week before Pomona, so once again it was a thrash to get ready for these indoor shows (San Francisco next week!)but isn't that the way it always goes! Believe me, this car does get driven, but admitedly, not as hard as I usually do, due to the fact it is going up for sale soon. Jason, it was nice meeting you, you had a very nice selection of cars and display as well. Hopefully I'll see some of you at S.F.

I thought you were in a different class. Sorry about the mix up. I thought the car I'm posting was in the same class.

Thanks for the good word guys. Steve- it was a pleasure meeting you.

As far as the indoor show thing, it's a double PITA when it rains on set-up day and immediately after the show. How much time can a guy spend detailing a car?!

Kevin- the CAR sticker is still in the back window. Thanks for your part on the car build!
