Please excuse my lack of expert knowledge.
Love cars but need help on the specs.
I recently purchased a 69 camaro with disc brakes in the front and very soft springs. The cars has cal trac suspension in the rear and seems to be lowered by inch and half. this car has a 427 big block with 500 hsp, set up for qtr mile. the front and rear wheels are 15 inch. I want to put on a protouring type of wheel and tire. I know i have to replace the front coil springs, they are some type of very soft drag type.
Can anyone reccomend a set of front coild springs to handle 17 or 18 pro touring wheels?

I moved this into suspension as you'll probably get more responses there. I've used DSE's springs on a couple of 69's and was always very happy with them. I am running Hotchkis on my current Chevelle, again with good results.

Here's the DSE link:

Hotchkis, DSE, Eibach, etc all have very good quality springs. Mark at SC&C (www.scandc.com) :hail: is always a good guy to call when it comes to suspension quandries.

...And not to forget... ATS (http://www.t56kit.com/) still sells their "LM Spring Adjusters", adjustable height coil spring units. (http://store.nexternal.com/shared/StoreFront/product_detail.asp?RowID=75&CS=ats&All=)
