Hello everyone. I just joined. I am the Editor at Muscle Car Power magazine and I am very interested in shooting some of the awesome iron featured here. I don't know if any of you have seen the magazine but it is currently on stands and has Rosie-the 66 Mustang from Hot Rods Restos in Canada on the April 2009 cover. The magazine is designed all around the heavily modified G-machine style catering to the customer who wants to check out cars that do everything well and tech that drives toward that effort. I'd love to hear comments if you have seen the mag. The March 2009 issue has a 64 Chevelle convertible on the cover built by Hill's Hot Rods in Texas. It has air ride, big brakes, LS1, six speed, 19's and 20's. I look forward to meeting many cool folks on Lateral G

Cool. I took it over about 3 months ago and have bee transforming from a restored Muscle car book to a G-machine haven. These in my opinion are the cars people want to read about-cars that handle, stop, steer, turn bitchin and run on bad ass late model power. You simply can beat all the modern style built into a classic package. I am also touching one some late model cars as well.

Thanks. Hopefully some day I can build a 64 or 65 Chevelle. Right now i am building a 56 ford F-100 pickup as I also run Street Trucks Magazine full time. my truck is on air with 20-inch Bonspeed wheels, SSBC brakes, Ford 9-inch, Ford Racing SBF Boss 302, overdrive trans, fully shaved, big window. I am running Vintage A/C, Flaming River column, No Limit IFS, No Limit fat bar 4-link. I am looking forward to finishing that and jumping into a Chevelle in a few years.

Welcome to the Board Travis.

I just read the magazine - cover to cover tonight.

I agree with your article "Performance Predictions" I think were going to see a big change in the cars that are being built.

As for 3rd gen Camaros - you may want to look at the one Nelson Racing & Bent Customs are building. It's over the top ( not a budget build ) but it is out of the norm since it's a 3rd gen Camaro. I think it's one of the baddest cars 3rd gen being build right now.

http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=5519

Of course that is going to change a little when Troy starts building the 3rd gen in his shop.

Once again welcome to the board and welcome fellow truck owners and tell Jason Marty said hi.

Magazine has changed a lot since that posted cover. It is now full G-machine with only one restored car at most per issue. The restored cars don't drive the aftermarket, are not exciting to look at, will not hang a corner, and in my view are not that fun to drive except in a straight line. G-machines, Gmachines. G-machines!!!!!

Magazine is still very much in business. I took charge of it just over a year ago and have transformed it from a heavy resto magazine to a full g-machine/Pro Touring book. Just finished issue number 7 under my leadership and Feb. 2010 issue hits stands Dec. 1st. Next issue has a '69 Camaro with an LS2, big brakes, budnik's etc. on the cover. Lots of good tech, cool cars, some event coverage. I am a Goodguys event fanatic and am planning to cover more and more Autocross next season.

I have been in the truck circle for the past 17 years and have built and owned several custom show trucks. I just finished a 1995 Chevy C-1500 standard cab on Air Ride Tech Susp., 20-inch bonspeed wheels, Baer brakes, billet adjustable shocks, GMPP 383 crate motor, big fat A.R.T. sway bar up front, retro muscle car paint scheme with flat finished hood and SS badges and stripes, black vinyl interior with houndstooth inserts.

I am also the Editor of Street Trucks Magazine and run both Muscle Car Power and Street Trucks simultaneously. My name is Travis Noack and if you have questions on the magazine e-mail me at [email protected]. Hope you all are enjoying the book.

Thanks
