I am trying to put a killer playlist together, but I need help with the songs and bands. Will you guys post up the name of the bands and songs that you think kicked ass.

The Misfits formed in '77, and "Attitude" was on the album "Static Age" and written in '79. Without those guys there never would have been Ministry, White Zombie/ Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Butthole Surfers... You get the point. They were a great band. Glen left the band in '82 or '83 to form Samhain which was more metal than punk, but the seeds were sown.
