I have spent most of my life in San Dog... and there used to be a bunch of action... right up to the point where the ricers killed it ALL.

The last known set was the Mcdonalds in Escondido and the OTH Gang over in Grossmont/Fletcher Hills area... and for the more tech savy... the autoX events at Jack Murphy. Other than that, there are a few scattered "Rod In's" during the year... but more towards the spring and summer seasons. The Bay normally has a few events... as well as Del Mar... but it's not at the frequency it once was.

I don't really know of that much going on in San Diego except for the weekly/monthly spring and summer cruise nights in El Cajon, Escondido, Encinitas and La Mesa. Some are better than others, although I don't really remember which ones were good. You really have to go to get a sense of each one.

Crusing the Grand will be starting up in a month or two.. it's a pretty big deal.

Try checking out www.socalcarculture.com -- they list most events and cruises :)

X2. Good times. Also during the summer months you can find small gatherings of cars on the weekends along the PCH in Leucadia.
