Does anyone know where or if you can get flaired rear quarter panels for '69 Firebirds? Or is it a do it yourself thing? If so I wouldn't know where to begin.

This info is for a camaro but same theory. Its based on the camaro from Aloha Bobby & Rose.

The flares can be cool if they are done right. It is not totally necessary. It depends on the wheel/tire combo that you want to run and if you want to narrow the rear-end or not. Check out the tread on the Josh Kalis dc shoes camaro in the new project to see more custom flares:thumbsup:

gale banks did a 68 camaro a few years back that i dont think he ever finished.. the pics are off his website.. bit he cut it at the bodyline horizontal bodyline and pulled the wheelpoenings out about 1.5-2 inches and welded in pie sections to close... it looked prety cool... gave it some girth and veloptous lines without changing the camaro look....
