I got to ride in my car today, a little test drive. What a rush after so long. Car drove straight, stopped, ran GREAT. Thanks to Gearhead Garage for all their work, and to my wife who supported me, and told me to get it finished the way I wanted.

I will get to drive it to the Sac. Autorama, where it will be in their display.

Here are some pictures, it was late in the day, so lighting wasn't great.

Yea Dave,

Yea, it looks like Jody' motor, but Dave (Flash68) got it before I could. So I had a similar one built.

Thanks

Yes thank you, and I dont need the vents and associated pieces, that will fit your new dash quite well, if you want them.

Yeah Jason told me that so he was gonna figure out fair pricing for all of that stuff and figure it out on our invoices I guess. Works out well for both of us!

Well, I got to drive my car yesterday to Cal Expo Autorama, it will be inside with a bunch of cars from Gearhead Garage. Parked right next to Bassi's car. What fun that was, after 14 years, even brought my 4 year old with me. He liked it too. I was so worried about driving, looking at it, watching and feeling, Jason had to remind me to smile. Forgot to bring a the camera. It is all I hoped for. I am so excited, its getting closer to coming home.
