I check it every single day.

Engine: 1967 Pontiac 400 cubic inch block, bored over .030, making 406 cubic inches. 4.150 Bore, 3.75 inch stroke.

Heads: Casting number 62 with valve job. 2.11 intake valves, 1.77 exhaust, 3 angle. 72cc's, code YT's, so I'm presuming they're off a 69 GTO. Or a 69 Grand Prix with a 428. Never did bother delving into that too far.

Transmission: Turbo 400 with B&M shift improver kit and a derale aluminum deep tranny pan with cooling fins/tubes IIRC, and B&M Megashifter which was cobbled into the console. Second gear clutch bands are slipping like the dickens. I have a backup th400 rebuilt by Mikes Transmissions in Lancaster, CA, full reverse manual valvebody and a transbrake. Good for single digit runs as that's what the guy before I had that trans was running in a 69 camaro, although this transmission hasn't been ran ever, it just collected dust in his garage, never ever been used. Chevy bellhousing pattern on that bad boy.

Ignition: Mallory Promaster coil, teamed up with a Mallory Unilite distributor ignition, and 8mm MSD wires. An 80 Amp Power Master one wire, internally regulated alternator. Entire vehicle is wired with a Painless performance wiring harness.

Exhaust: 2-1/4" dual exhaust pipes, with cheesy as all get out 3 pipe headers from the 70's, and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Sets off car alarms, and makes little kids cry.

Camshaft: Dual pattern, custom grind, with Rhoads variable duration lifters. Bought from H-O Racing clear back in the early/mid 80's. Grind is a HC01, can't find my cam sheet at home. Installed straight up, it's relatively close to the HC01D, with less duration IIRC. Here's the specs for that cam.

HC01D 465/492 274/286 220/232 108/120

Intake: Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold. (Aluminum dual plane, high rise design.) K&N 14" by 3" tall air filter with a 1 1/4" drop base.. Hood clearence is tight. Not to mention fuel line clearence.

Carb: Carter AFB carb, 750cfm with a manual choke is installed, running, and tuned to perfection by yours truely. Jet kit comes with it. Has your springs, jets, accelerator pumps, and rods all in a tackle box. Manual choke is disconnected, it doesn't get cold here.

Rearend: General Motors 8.2 Inch BOP 10 bolt with 3.55 gear ratio, factory traction bars, and yes it's peg legged.

Misc things: Autometer Phantom gauges for oil, water temp, and A/F ratio installed, along with a mallory 3" tach with built in rev limiter and shift light. Grant GT 4 spoke wheel. Was in car craft october issue of 1999 or 2000, can't remember which year for the inagural anti-tour. Four row Desert cooler radiator, flex fan, and a 12" electric puller fan for cooling duties. Doesn't overheat in 110 degree weather in stop and go. Hovers around 210 at most. 180 once yer moving. I can't remember the brand of water pump it has in there, I'd have to go through my receipts. It has a power steering box with the belt cut off, the PS pump leaked, never bothered to fix it.

Body - body's straight, has a few minor dings, the worst being about 1 inch tall and 1/2" deep in the passenger rear quarter panel when my mother backed into it. The body is mostly straight. 400 hood, no tach. No paint, all ....or mostly brown primer I should say.

All in all the chassis has ???? number of miles on it. I'd venture to say 170K or so, your guess is as good as mine. The engine just turned 72,000 miles and change. It has 4 wheel drum brakes that work when you bleed them if you can call that working I suppose. I have spare parts for a disc brake conversion that were taken off an early nova. Carter mechanical fuel pump. All the glass is there no cracks, most of the trim, it needs an interior badly unless you like sitting on springs. No real rust to speak of, some minor pinholes in the trunk, nothing that some por-15 can't make quick work of. Trying to think of what else I can bring up, but my brain is racked. Ran a best of mid 13's at 102.5 at lacr, corrected down to very high 12's. Got it to do it once, never ran that number again. You could clean up at the bracket races on a 14.1 dial in  Mojave heater is installed which truthfully doesn't heat much of anything. Some cerwin vega speakers 5 1/4 front and 6x9 rear, no head unit, but there's space in the glove for it.

It does definatey run strong (once you jumpstart the dead battery anyways) but the transmission is slipping really badly. It pretty much sat in my garage for the last year or so. It's been non-op'd for about 2 years as well just a FYI.

If you're serious as a heart attack, email me your first name and your phone number, and we'll talk about the car, and when you can come out to my neck of the woods (that being Lancaster, California, about 30 minutes north of Los Angeles off the 14 fwy) so you can take a peek.

No tire kickers, no time wasters, and no dreamers. This is hard enough for me as is as it was my first car I owned since I was 18.

Cash only, no trades, and it's not like I take credit cards anyways. I'm looking to sell for $8,500 or the best offer that comes my way.

Picture worth a thousand words? (yes the passenger side door is grey primer, which is why most of the pics are from the drivers side.) Oh yeah all the boy racer stickers have since been removed too, those pics are about 3 years old (interior was shot 3 minutes ago), but she still looks the same, just dustier with some boxes on top of her. Here she is.
