Prodigy Customs Announces 30 day Price Guarantee Program





So I have been calling our vendors / manufacturers and doing some bulk purchases and working out purchase commitments and incentives that will allow us to put items on sale. Basically if we can negotiate a better price, we can pass that along to our members. It is very difficult sometimes to advertise sales as many manufacturers have specific pricing rules that simply do not allow advertised discount. But as times tighten a bit, many are felling a little pinch, so we tell them let me put it on sale! Sales are great for you the consumer.


But there is one thing that sucks about a sale and always pains us. This the guy who buys on Weds, then on Friday it goes on sale for $25, $50, or a $100 less then he paid. So since I am working so many sale deals right now, I thought the only thing we could do to make it right to our customers would to do a 30 day price guarantee like the big retailers do.



So here is the deal, if you buy something from us and within 30 days we advertise it on a special below our already low price, below what you paid, we will credit the difference between your price and the sale price. Understand this is pretty significant for us because the item we sold you, we paid our regular price, but the items we are selling on sale are probably purchased with some incentive. So while this will absolutely dig into our profit, but I see no other way to negotiate these deals and offer these specials without screwing recent buyers. This is the right thing to do and should help give confidence to someone wondering if they should "wait" for a sale.



So any advertised sale item is included, period, no strings attached. Only excluded items are Group buys which go in batches after orders are received and appreciation credits do not apply.



We just did our very first 30 day guarantee today for a customer that bought a radiator last month. This month we negotiated the Prodigy Cool Package in with the radiator in our most recent batch. So this month we included the Prodigy Cool package for the same price as the radiator only. My customer that bought last month did not get the Prodigy Cool package, so we sent the Prodigy Cool Package to him today at no charge even though it cost us $89. But ya know what? It's the right thing to do.
